Folsom History Museum

3rd grade took a field trip to the Folsom History Museum. While there, students learned about blacksmiths, took a gold panning lesson, took a tour of items focusing on Folsom's industries and so much more!

4th grade Gold Bug Mine

4th grade visited the Gold Bug Mine where they were able to discover the art of hard rock mining.

Kinder Feast

Our kindergarteners eager to celebrate our traditional, Kinder Feast, with their family and friends. Kindergarteners spend a day preparing stuffing, zuchinni bread, and pies for guest to enjoy at this event.

Theater Production The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse

Green Oaks had its first theater production of The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. This heartwarming children’s musical is based on the award winning book an animated short film by the same title and was presented by select 3rd through 5th grade students. Thank you to Mr. Danz and Mrs. Mayfourth, staff members, volunteers and students for all your hard work putting this production together.

Jelly Belly Factory Field Trip

Our second graders took a field trip to the Jelly Belly Factory where they learned about producers and consumers (the students get to shop at the gift shop if they choose to)

Our TK beavers had so much fun creating this Saint Patricks Day activity.

First Grade

Our first graders are learning about how shadows are created and how they change throughout the day.

5th Grade Field Trip

5th graders took a field trip to the IMAX Theater to watch a 3D movie.

Mad Science

Our student council members chose to host a Mad Science assembly for our school! All of the students loved it! If you have to opportunity to host a Mad Science assembly, we highly suggest it!

Second grade is up, up and away!

Our second graders spend a few days constructing and decorating their own kites to take out and fly in the field. We love to see their creations come to life!

Green Oaks Food Drive

Student council members helped run our food drive. Our beavers were able to donate hundreds of pounds of food to help local families at the Orangevale Food Bank.

Apple Hill

Kindergarten went to visit Apple Hill. While there, they were able to take a tour to learn how they make their apple pies, how they pick apples, and where they store them all. Such a fun field trip!

Discovery Club's hands on science project!

Our discovery club was able to do a hands on science project this year and hatch their very own chicks! Students set up everything for the chicks and watched them in the incubator for almost 3 weeks. It was such a cool experience for students and staff members.

Green Oaks Disney 2.0

Our staff was so excited for this year's Spring Sing. Disney 2.0! A fun evening of watching all the students sing, food trucks, shaved ice, and a good time with your family and friends.
