Open Enrollment School Tour starts Nov 5th!

Where do “Children Come First?” Where is “The Beaver Buck Store?” Who has a Fall Festival, Talent Show and the “I Ready to Learn Incentive Program?”

All these and more exciting happenings are at Green Oaks School. Green Oaks School is hosting tours on scheduled mornings starting at 9:00. We would like to invite you to come and meet with our principal, tour our classrooms, and see how our fundamental philosophy works to make us an exemplary and inspiring school. Our next tour is Nov 5th(subject to change).

Our transitional kindergarten through fifth grade classes offers families an alternative to the traditional neighborhood school. Anyone within the San Juan Unified School District can choose to open enroll into Green Oaks.

The fundamental philosophy of our school has the primary goal of providing a highly structured learning environment with high academic and behavior expectations. Although our concentration is on developing literacy, mathematical competency, and higher order thinking, our dedicated staff has academically enriched special events at each grade level.

The Green Oaks Community has supported technology for students and staff for many years. We have a state of the art computer lab and all students receive instruction in a variety of applications and complete numerous digital projects.

From volunteering in the classroom, joining the PTA, or driving on field trips, parent participation is strongly encouraged at Green Oaks and possibilities abound. The school to home connection is essential to our successful program.

We are sure that you will find a warm, welcoming environment for your family at Green Oaks. Please call the school office at 916-979-8209 or email Michelle Sudeikis at michelle.sudeikis@sanjuan.edu to schedule your appointment for a tour of our school. Visit our website at www.sanjuan.edu/greenoaks
