Open Enrollment

What is Open Enrollment? 

Open enrollment is a process to request a school other than your neighborhood school for the following school year. This choice is available to all families who reside within the San Juan Unified School District boundaries. As an alternative fundamental school, Green Oaks welcomes any family that resides within the district boundaries.

PLEASE read the information provided by San Juan Central in regards to open enrollment. 

The success of our school's fundamental philosophy depends on the strong family-to-school connection.  It is a commitment entered into by our teachers, students and parents jointly.  As part of our enrollment process, we require all families to meet with our principal and to participate in a school tour. 

Please call for an appointment for the Tuesday Parent Tour (916-979-8209).  Tours begin at 9:00AM. You will meet at the office and then have the opportunity to visit classrooms.
